How the Program Works

An individual requesting assistance must first complete an online application which will give the organization information needed to evaluate the request.

Upon assessment, if the organization determines that the request falls within the parameters established for the funding cycle, the individual then will be asked to provide documents substantiating the need and the work requirement. All applicants must currently be employed.

Upon proving the organization all the requested documents, a quick decision will be made whether or not to fund the request.

If the decision is made to fund the request, the organization will directly pay the bill in question. If the request is for the purchase of food, the individual will be given a food voucher to a local grocery store for which the voucher will only purchase food items.
